Everybody wants to be healthy. Eating healthy food is important for us. There is some healthy food. You can eat more vegetables and fruit. For example, you can eat bananas, apples, oranges, carrots, cabbages and so on. They can make you healthy and strong. Don’t eat too much ice cream or chocolate. Don’t drink too much Coke. It’s not good for your teeth or even your health. Many children like eating junk food. It might make you ill and weak. Sports can keep you healthy. Get up early and do some sports every day. They can make your life better.

Mike is a student. He gets up at 6:20. He runs in the park for half an hour. Then he has breakfast at 7:35. Before breakfast, he brushes his teeth and then washes his face. After breakfast, he goes to school at 7:50. He has a math class at 8:00. After class, he often plays sports with his friends. He often does his homework after dinner. In the evening, he reads books and sleeps at 9:00.

It’s very important (重要的) for us to be healthy. Now I’ll tell you how I can be healthy. I often eat fruit and vegetables. I don’t like to eat hamburgers. They are not good for my health. I have a balanced diet. Many foods are important, such as rice, meat, eggs, vegetables and fruit. I like to eat apples. As the saying (谚语) says, ” An apple a day keeps the doctor away. ”And I also like doing sports. I like running in the morning. I play basketball in the afternoon with my friends. And sometimes I play ping-pong with my family at the gym on Saturdays. I think I’m healthy. What about you?

Peter is playing football on the street. He kicks (踢) the ball so hard that it breaks the window of a house. A woman comes out with the ball and shouts at (喊) him. Peter is afraid and runs away. After a few minutes, Peter comes back and says to the woman, “My father will come to fix (修理) your window very soon.” Then a man comes. So the woman gives Peter the ball. The man finishes the work and says to the woman,” You need to pay (支付) ten dollars (美元).” “Aren’t you that boy’s father?” asks the woman.” No,” the man answers.” Aren’t you his mother?”

Wendy and Susan are on a train. It’s 11: 45. They are a little hungry and thirsty. Wendy would like some chicken, rice and vegetables. But there is no chicken. At last, she has beef (牛肉), rice and vegetables for lunch. She also drinks some black tea. Susan would like some noodles with fish. But there is no fish. She has noodles with tomatoes.

They’re delicious, too. And she drinks some soup. After lunch, they are not hungry or thirsty.

Wang Tao is a pupil. He goes to school on foot. Lily is Wang Tao’s friend. She goes to school by bike.

Wang Tao’s aunt is from Taiwan. Taiwan is a beautiful place. She often goes to Taiwan. She goes to Taiwan by ship.

I will visit my grandparents in Dalian. I will go there by train. I will stay there for two weeks.
