This is my school. It’s not big but beautiful. I usually go to school at seven thirty. This is my classroom. I have English and Maths every day. This is my Art room. I draw pictures here. I like Art. It’s fun. Look at the playground. It’s very big. I usually play football here. I can play it well. I love my school.

My name is Kate. I’m from Chongqing. It’s spring in Chongqing now. I like spring best. There are beautiful flowers everywhere. I often go on a picnic with my family on the weekend. We have a few fun things in spring. Tree Planting Day is on March 12th. I usually plant trees with my friends. The school trip is on March 20th. We’ll go to the zoo. After the school trip, we have an English party. It’s on March 25th. I can speak English and sing English songs at the party. Oh, I like spring best because my birthday is in spring, too. It’s on March 9th.

It is Saturday today. It’s sunny and warm outside. The children go to the park together. They are very happy. Look! Sam is jumping like a rabbit. He’s very funny. John is good at sports. Our classroom is under the teachers’ office. The desks and chairs are blue. Look! The vegetable garden is near the playground. These are carrots and tomatoes. They are red. One morning, Mr Green is driving around the country and looking for a bookshop. When he sees an old man on the other side of the road, he stops his car and says to the old man, “Excuse me. I want to go to the Sun Bookshop. Do you know it?” “Sure,” the old man answers. “I will show you the way.” He gets into Mr Green’s car, and they drive about twelve miles (英里) when they come to a small house, “Right,” the old man says. “This is my house. And now I’ll show you the way to the bookshop. Turn around and go back nine miles. Then you’ll see the bookshop.”

It is a nice day. Our class has a field trip today. We are very excited. In the park, the trees are green and the flowers are blooming. Some birds are singing and dancing in the trees. Some bees and butterflies are busy flying and dancing in the flowers. Look! Amy is watching insects (昆虫) and Peter is collecting leaves. They want to write a report (报告). The teacher is sitting on the chairs, talking and laughing happily. Some boys are running around the flowers. How happy we are! We are having a good time.

Today lots of people order takeout(点外卖) on different Apps. Did people also order takeout in the Song dynasty(宋朝)? The answer is yes!

At that time, people didn’t have phones. They couldn’t use the Internet. But they could order takeout! Some restaurants had takeout workers. They went out and yelled(吆喝) their dishes. People ordered, and the workers took the food to people’s houses.

Now, takeout workers use e-bikes. But in the Song dynasty, there weren’t any bikes. Takeout workers walked to send food. How could they keep food warm? They used a special box!

Mrs White is a housewife. She is always busy in the morning. She gets up early and cooks breakfast. She has two children, Leo and May. Leo is ten years old and May is eight years old. They get up at seven o’clock. Leo makes his bed and washes quickly. May does not make her bed. Her bedroom is often messy. After breakfast, Mrs White takes them to school by car. Then she goes to the supermarket and buys food for dinner.

People eat different kinds of food in different countries. In China, people eat a lot of rice. Many people eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Japanese people(日本人) eat a lot of fish. They live near the sea and they can get fish easily. In the UK, people eat a lot of potatoes. They can cook potatoes in many different ways.

Some people only eat fruit and vegetables. They don’t eat fish, meat or any other food from animals. They only eat food from plants. Thy think food from plants is healthy. These people are vegetarians.
